Columbia Heights’s police and fire departments wrote on Facebook on May 27 that they rescued a vehicle from the water near a Silver Lake boat launch on Saturday, May 23.
The fire department deployed resources on the water on arrival while the police, Allina EMS, dispatchers, towing services and additional support agencies worked together to manage the incident.
The incident reportedly involved an individual experiencing a crisis.
