The Blaine City Council May 18 unanimously approved two drainage and utility easement vacations at Northtown Mall in anticipation of a future development at the site. The vacations were petitioned for by Russel Taylor of Taylor Properties. The first involves easements on Lot 2, Block 1, Prime North Addition, and Lot 2, Block 1, Glimcher Northtown Mall Second Addition. The second involves Lot 2, Block 1, Prime North Addition. Oak Grove is moving ahead with a new city hall and fire station after years of discussion about fire department space needs and maintenance issues at the current City Hall. Mayor Weston Rolf said the project was not one city officials took lightly. “It was something that we just needed to do,” Rolf said. Rolf said discussions about a new fire station date back to at least 2019, when he was serving on the City Council. Since then, he said, Oak Grove has continued to grow, increasing the need for city services, staff space and space for groups that contract with the city. ...
CMK Properties announced on Facebook that Ham Lake is expected to get a new Tractor Supply Company store by the end of the year. The 21,930-square-foot prototype store would be the company’s 11th development for the chain.CMK described the project as part of its work developing specialty retail properties in communities across the country.
